I can go without my phone for most of the day, but at the end of the day I'd be itching to check it!

Not the best but not the worst, as long as I have something to keep my busy I'll be fine

lavish pollen

To dial my sleep schedule back i've been planning to charge my phone far outside my bedroom

I’d probably get very stressed and I wouldn’t have music to calm me down because I don’t have my phone so not very comfortable

lavish pollen

Quite uncomfortable at first, though I think that I would quickly go back to the status quo of 20 or so years ago, before I had a cell phone (I didn't use the house phone often)

I'd be more likely to leave the house naked than without my phone

I try to intentionally take a small chunk of time every day without my phone. Sometimes I do ok, and other times I make it ten minutes. I've noticed since I've been making the effort I feel better mentally not constantly doom scrolling.

depends on the situation, if i'm like- interacting with other human souls- then i have no problem being without my phone for hours but if i'm alone i need it in arms reach if not in my hand

Depends on where and how long.

Not nearly as comfortable as I'd want to be, but yeah depends on the context

If I leave the house for half an hour or less I usually don't bring my phone

#

When away for longer I like having it to stream music but if I accidentally forget to charge it I just kinda go 'oh well' and leave it home

also im usually alone so i would prefer not going out in public without my phone

I was a late adopter who remembers going without and using payphones though for whatever it's worth dogekek

it's how I talk to my partners and the other people who care about me so I try to have it more often than not
I need to be able to contact my loves 🥺

If I have things to do I'm fine without but at least taking pics gets hindered

I even keep it by my side when I'm sleeping. So yeah, I feel pretty uncomfy without it

if going out then id be too anxious to not have it. if it was a normal day for me i could go a bit without my phone but i would just be replacing the phone time with computer time. so until i need an authenticator i could do without a phone.

I don't feel uncomfortable, I just prefer having it for purchases, communication, etc. If I were to no longer have a phone I'd probably be just fine, but I do prefer having it with me.

extremely okay. i very often want to yeet this dumb rectangle that enchants me to lay on my couch for hours, into the nearest lake.
but also it gives me the hehe-funnies sometimes, and lets me talk to people far away.

its a love-hate relationship :/

i have set timers that lock me out of apps after set amount of time, and and shut off every notification and turned off 90% of all "juice" -as its called- (yes, literally). As phones and apps come "right out the box" you might aswell fry our nerve endings right away cus its straight up just that. poison.

I have tremendous respect for how controlling this device can be and will be, if left unchecked.

#

still i feel like i can be better, i still average ca. 2 hours 30 mins of screen-on time a day. which is plenty more than any person should interact with these things, if you ask me.
