Honestly I'm not too sure what I'm looking for in terms of genre or anything. I haven't really read much for 4-5 years and am looking for some books to try and get me back into it again if you have any recommendations?
Is there a certain mood or aesthetic you prefer? High or low stakes action?
I think I prefer more high stakes stuff
Will send links in two messages. Discord gets big mad when I don't lol.

eero, I don't want to tag you in this, but this has been insightful during the search of my own identity:

Hello, I was looking at my books and realized I don't have any nonfiction LGBTQ+ books! What do people recommend for LGBTQ+ history or LGBTQ+ analysis books?
I had gotten a book titled Gender and Sexuality in Ireland but it turned out it has no LGBTQ+ history in it so that's another reason why I'm sad about not having these types of books
Queer Intentions was great and I've heard good stuff about We Have Always Been Here and The Pink Line
Here's are some great nonfiction books I recommend.

Of those books The Stonewall Reader, And The Band Played On, along with Making Gay History would provide the broadest overview of LGBTQIA History. There's several books that are niche history topics as well.
Thank you very much both of you for all the recommendations!
Summa Theologica by St Thomas Aquinas - will take years to read i imagine
Do you like the hunger games? Do you like dark fantasy? Do you like romance subplot? Do you like magic? Do you like morally grey characters? Do you like traumatized characters? If so, do i have a duology for you! All of us Villains + all of our demise is about 7 kids who belong to a different noble family who must fight to the death for high magic, the most powerful and last supply of this type of magic on every blood moon due to a curse made centuries ago so no common person has access to this dangerous magic. But…can the complex relationships and fierce competitors destroy this curse? Do they want to destroy this curse?
(there MIGHT be some gay lovers in the second book 💕 🤭)
I can ask for recommendations here, right?
Yess I think I can
Can someone recommend fantasybooks with some cute gay couples? I'm into fantasy again but most fantasybooks seem so straight 🥲
Ooh this sounds good though, I've put it on mo to read list!
Six of crows + crooked kingdom! Crooked kingdom has the gay lovers but its still one of my favs 🙂 its a pretty confusing at the beginning but its so worth it to go through those 100 pages of confusion.
Im currently reading the second book rn and i love it sm, i read 200 pages of it last night
Omg, SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO!!! Its a must read and its one of my fav books of all time
Added them to my to read list as well, thanks! 😁
Np!!! Im a fantasy book enthusiast, read 30+ last year, so if u need any more feel free to ask!
If you're not intimidated by chunky books the Roots of Chaos series has some wonderful sapphic couples.
Added this one as well, I was already hooked when the description mentioned a queendom instead of a kingdom
Bumping this channel so folks know where to ask for book recs vs making separate posts.
