If its night like it is right now, I'd go far north which is the least populated area where I am
If it's day I'm staying home and barricading myself until the night
I'd see if my local IGA was still functioning so I might be able to steal supplies
if not I'd try the Coles or the Woolworths, but they're a bit further
this is all at night btw
in abt 12 hours of night cover I might be able to get far enough north to be safe for at least 6 months
and then I'd move further east, trying to hit Capricornia (Northern Queensland) and stay out there for a while

I'd go to my parents house or somewhere close by, they live in the middle of nowhere and all of their neighbors are farmers

Real answer? I'd pack supplies that I already have, find a gun store and stock up on weapons and ammo, drive somewhere closer to a rural area, find a grocery store with not as many cars in the parking lot and fit as many supplies from it in the SUV. Then I'd find an abandoned/near abandoned house, near a source of fresh water and with enough land to where I could sustain myself, and live there. Less people = less zombies wandering in, and having the land and source of water would make farming easier. I'd get seeds and some pesticides and fertilizer from the store I raid, and maybe also canning supplies if I had room, since that would be beneficial in winter. I'd also raid the fishing supplies so I'd have a good source of protein.

id get my idiots and try and get as far into the mountains as possible with the gas in the SUV after getting supplies. find a place by clean water that wouldn't freeze over in the winter, and slowly build a home. Live out the rest of my days shooting the acatonal zombie and growing a garden.

Depends on the type of zombie. Are they the classic Romero-esque shambling horde? I'm going to drive to wherever the family is to collect them. Then I'm driving home, mowing down the occasional zombie as is necessary. After everyone is safe and outfitted with firearms, we get to work boarding up the house with the spare remodel materials in my shed. We then get to work preserving as much of our frozen meat as possible, via drying, canning or other means. After that we start networking with the neighbors and create a plan to eliminate and dispose of the zombie during the nights when they are slow or frozen since it is still winter here.
If we are talking World War Z zombies that sprint at you, I suppose I roll over and accept my fate because this dad-bod ain't sprinting anywhere these days.
