#hey guys is there a MQTT client add on

If you wanted to ask about add-ons you wanted #add-ons-archived - but HA has a built in MQTT client, and you can either manually listen for messages, or use one of the many MQTT integrations (https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations#search/mqtt)
Thanks @hybrid palm - can you point me in the general direction of manually listening into MQTT messages via HAOS using Nabu Casa.... I dont have physical access to the remote site any other way other than thru Nabu Casa to determine whats (not) going on with the MQTT installation (messages not formatted properly). I have looked but its not so obvious to me
sorry - to be clear - I know how to use MQTT..... I just cant access subscribe: /# via nabu casa and see ALL msgs being published
Well, you'd have to have HA talking to that broker
So, set up the MQTT integration and all that jazz
internal broker
Sorry - ive set it up and its running for alst 3 years..... I wanna other parts of the brewery and I cant fin the correct subscribe to monitor - problem is I can get to the site to plug in a client for the next few weeks
Well, as I said, to use HA you need to set up HA's MQTT integration, talking to that broker
Google found me https://community.home-assistant.io/t/home-assistant-community-add-on-mqtt-server-web-client/70376 though, which probably will do what you want
#add-ons-archived can help with add-ons though
lemme look
the client is what I need - but deprecated and I dont wanna screw with a working system by replacing the MQTT integration.....
Well, then you need an #add-ons-archived
essentially it look slike Im screwed and theres not a client/add on for a MQTT client
Such as that one
Well, try asking in the right channel, maybe somebody will know
If I was smart enuff Id work on one...... but Im not
yeah - agree It was not in the right channel - apologie
Also, doesn't look like the one I linked has been removed, so it should still work
Soon be removed, in 2020, and it's still there
