in the settings for the get all alarms action enable show when run
are any of them the ones you have set for recuring?
The 0700 is from the Health app on weekdays. 0900 weekends and 0708 the manual
Health for weekends
ok
give me a sec
Would you mind translating the popup?
Specifically 07:00 og 09:00
og = and
Ok yep probably should have gotten that from context
I wonder if it is a language thing with the workd bedtime
Can you post a screenshot of that part of the shortcut?
I changed my phone to English and that seems to be almost working. It now turns the boolean on but does not set the alarm time.
What does the output at the end of the get time shortcut give you?
English setting
Bedtime
Bedtime
Norwegian setting
None
Ok i see no reason it would be working in English but not Norwegian
Ok so it is not that
I would recommend moving that output around till it stops outputting
If i put it there, nothing happens
Can you change the output to show the repeat days veriable
Not sure
Ok that one makes no sense. Give me a sec
This is what i would expect to see
Oh wait i think you just renamed the veriable not changed the one you are outputting
See the symbol is different
after the name = Bedtime if statment
ok thats good, now can you change it to date for alarm?
You will need to set a custom format
did you do EEEE or eeee?
EEEE
ok im wondering if it is the capital M vs the lower case m
can you do it again in english?
then it says Monday
3 times.
Equals the alarms (1 manual and 2 from Health App)
When in Norwegian it only says Mandag once.
ok
oh i think the bedtime ones are probably using the Norwegian for bedtime
but that dosnt explain why that if statement after it isnt working
I changed the name to something else, reset the Health alarm.
Ran the action while phone in English and it works expect for date
That was just set
oh i dont use the date. i just work on the assumption that if the boolean is on the current time is for tomorrows alarm (my automation turns the alarm boolean off when the alarm goes off)
ah okey, dont need the date.
so it is working but only in english
Yes. Very strange
i think this is almost definatly an issue with the direct text comparisons
also i need to go to work, i will be there in 10 mins and can keep helping
I need to go to sleep 🙂 Its 2:30 am here
Thanks alot so far! Ill try some more of those show results step by step tomorrow and see if i can make sense of anything.
oh ok yes dont stay up too late making sure your alarm works
let me know if you find anything or need some more help
If you got more tips just drop here and ill try again in the morning
Thanks alot!! Have a great day at work 🙂
@junior panther did you ever have a chance to give this another try?
A little. It doesn’t fully suit my needs, since it only captures the time of the next alarm, rather than the date and time. Also, it always seems to get stuck if I’ve recently used a one-time override for my sleep alarm. Right now, for example, it’s still picking up the time from the alarm I set for this past Saturday.
