#Native Sidebar

i also like the bigger items. i think for multi-server, on mac specifically, we can use a Maps-like variant - the sidebar content changes as you change tab, and we can figure out a way to have a 'new tab' button work for this.
this is made slightly harder by the fact that the webview is doing the header bar, so the tabs would have to be 'above' it on the right, but otherwise i think that part works
ipad can be similar -- we support opening multiple windows, but i think that's less what people expect -- but i think it'll have to be closer to whatever the iphone version ends up being
actually that tabbed UI may be harder to do on mac, glancing at how it works, since we're a catalyst app. darn.
yeah i think for mac, the Home.app-inspired dropdown selector may be best -- we can maybe figure out a way in the dropdown menu to have a "open in new window" option; and on ios/ipados allow swiping left/right to go between servers in the sidebar
Okay, bummer. I gave myself the constraint to keep macOS components in the sidebar. And not, for example on top of the web topbar. Or can we do something like that?
Do you've got an example of an iOS app with a 'native' sidebar? Most apps don't use it as an overlay, but an extra step with a chevron back.
i think the focus on "mac in the sidebar" is right. tabs may be something i can play with in the future
