#Enbrighten Zigbee Light Toggle Switch

I assume the brief blue LED flashes indicate the device is in pairing mode, so I don't know why I can't get home assistant to discover the device.
@toxic cove to answer your question, probably not 10 seconds. I can try a longer power cut and see if tha thelps.
Devices actually scan for networks, not the other way around. It's like connecting to a WiFi network.
Try cutting power for like 10-20s, permit joins in ZHA, then reset it
but i need to go into the integration in home assistant and say "add device" right?
Yeah
the annoying thing is the light switch is on the same power circuit as my internet modem, wifi router, zigbee coordinator, and home assistant rpi, so everything goes down. maybe i should mvoe all that stuff
but thanks, i will try a longer outage, maybe after migrating my other equipment to a different circuit
Well, even w/o a power cycle, it recognized now and paired. However, it shows as unknown device unknown mfg. whereas before im fairly certain it said something else
I dont know if this matters, but for device last seen it reports today at 19:26, however it is only 12:53 so it seems to be reporting for GMT or UTC or something.
i wonder if thats going to screw w/ my sunrise/sunset node red automation
Try restarting HA, it will re-scan the device if it's showing the unknown model/manufacturer
What coordinator are you using?
something from Tubes, i dont recall the exact model number.
i'll restart and see what that does
A CC2652P coordinator?
Doesn't really matter, I've not seen the "unknown model" bug show up with a CC2652 coordinator before
rebooted HA, no change. still says unk_model by unk_manufacturer. The good news is, the entity is working fine and my node red flow to trigger it off during daylight hours is also working
so this appears to just be cosmetic in app
i restarted HA once, no change. then a couple mins later i rebooted HA + Coordinator
Strange. Are you running a recent HA release?
running core-2021.9.7
