It is likely the device that is doing it and not home assistant, What device are you talking about?

They are all google devices. Several mini, 4 displays. What I am trying to do is set off an automation that is triggered by the door bell. It first read current volume and stores it. The raise the volume for announcement. After announcement, the volume returns to original setting. Everything works as it should except every time I change the volume I get a notification sound. I don't want the notification sound. I was afraid that it was in fact the device and there wasn't anything I could do based off everything I've been able to find. I was hoping that maybe I couldn't find the right way to do it.
