#checking connectivity to thread

Hey, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Running HAOS, ZBT-2 for Thread, OTBR + Matter all current.

Everything was working, then suddenly I couldn’t add new devices. Pairing just sits on “Connecting to Matter…” forever.

At this point I’ve basically blown everything away:

Removed Thread + Matter from HA and rebuilt
Reset Thread network
Rebooted HA
Factory reset devices (Aqara T2 bulb, IKEA buttons/plugs)
On my Pixel 10 Pro I cleared Google Play Services cache/storage and disabled Thread credential storage

Now I have no devices on the Thread network at all, and still can’t add anything.

Feels like something is stuck on the phone side or there’s a commissioner conflict, but I can’t find anything obvious.

Anyone seen this before or know how to fully clear Thread/Matter state on Android?

fully clearing the thread credentials state on android requires clearing the google play services data. Note that this will log you out of google accounts and clear payment cards.

#

better to try to investigate the possible network issues first

#

consider trying the beta toggle in the OTBR app, which includes some mdns fixes that can help commissioning on android devices.

Since things were working before and then you tried to do commissioning, you may have encountered the HAOS 17.2 flaw that somehow turned off IPv6 forwarding. Enter the command ha docker options --enable-ipv6=true and then restart HAOS.

Oh I will try that, ipv6 fix. I already cleared the Google play services, is there a way to confirm before entering the enable command

So i wanted to thank everyone, i made it home and after running the IPV6 fix, i can now join devices.
