My HA system is (1) struggling with getting messages spoken and (2) playimg any media. It starts and tops, and takes a very long time (60+ seconds) to get a relatively short message out. I have piper setup, but the same problems occur when I switch to Home Assistant Cloud, but that doesnt come into play when I am trying to use media player. Using assist_satellite.announce for a message doesnt hicup inthe same way. I am running on HA Core 2026.3.1 I have checked my processor usage which is running at about 40%,. Piper is in a MAC Min server with shed loads of capacity.
It was working successfully, but I haven't been keeping track of sytem updates to properly identify whether a HA update has cause the problem. I would welcome any pointers as to what diagnostic info I can gather to get to the bottom of this major setback.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update 15:14GMT: A reboot of HA seems to have reduced the hicups. The investigation continues.
Update 15:35GMT: Hicups have gone. Messages coming out properly. A bit sceptical as to whether this probem has really disappear or whether there is another problem tha builds up over time.
