Does anyone know how to configure the four presence reporting areas on the Z-Wave Inovelli dimmer switch?
The Zigbee equivalent lets you define up to 4 detection areas which are reported separately.
But the Z-Wave version, while showing four diagnostic sensors for these areas, doesn't have an obvious configuration endpoint for multiple areas. And only the 4th area ever reports anything ("mmWave Person in the Reporting Area 1 (Read Only)").
Any tips?

Do you have any manual for the Z-Wave version? I would expect it to have configuration parameters to define this kind of stuff.

No, there isn't an equivalent manual for the Z-Wave version. I guess that's something I can email support about.

I did the same, for the blue/zigbee. Was disappointed at first with how many of the promised parameters weren't available but the custom quirk from the Inovelli repo seems to work well
I'm not sure there's a ZWaveJS equivalent to that kind of system. And chatbots have posited that Z-Wave device firmware might just not have sufficient registers for that degree of customization

Ohh Z-Wave devices can be very very configurable. I have a couple of devices with hundreds of config parameters.
Most non standard stuff is done through config parameters in Z-Wave.
If these devices can have their zones changed it most definitely is done through config parameters
In HA that would be behind the "configure" button on the device page.

ohh, that's right, I did find that article before re the red series mmWave parameters (and the ZWaveJS db entry too!)
But this shows the same as what I'm seeing in HA: you can configure "Detection Area 1" but no indications as to how you would configure the other three areas
I'll probably try the forums and update this post here if I find anything useful one way or the other
