hello every one. i am new to the home assistant Univers. I followed the tutorial to install home assistant on the virtual box from the official web site. I did checked that i have installed Home Assistant OS (Core 2026.2.1, Supervisior 2026.2.1 and Operating System 17.0)in the about section and i enabled the advanced setting, but i still don't have the addons . Did the tutorial again and made a new virtual machine. I use a surfacebook i5-4300U, 8Gb of ram and windows 10.
#Missing Addons

Add-ons have been renamed to Apps this past month so people won't get confused.
That seems to be working as expected.
all the tutorials online point to the addon setting
Seems to achieve the opposite. As expected. Try with link below.
Thank you. I am trying to get my head around everything. Seems a bit overwhelming for now
Well, the rest of the world needs to edit all their tutorials, You Tubers need to re-upload videos after reshooting them, all the former Add-on ?Authors need to update their stuff.
The only entitie(s) I don't feel sorry for is the LLM's.
Thanks for the link @vale fiber . I should have posted it but my 'attitude' got in the way.
I think it's a pitty that https://www.home-assistant.io/addons/
does show in Google but is now blank. At least for next year it would have been better imho to just have a simple explanation there the name changed.
I get the name change but they keep forgetting the thousands of tutorials and other help :/
This happened when the HAOS docs were migrated too. All links died before they were even merged. I hate these, to me, useless changes.
