We have just moved in to our new house which the builder spec'd with very nice, architectural ceiling downlights. All of these use hardwired LED boards, not bulbs. Therefore, swapping out with smart bulbs like Hue is not an option, unless I want to go through and replace all these new, expensive light fixtures. Additionally, the light switches are also beautiful, brass, expensive architectural switches that I don't want to swap out with smart switches.
Does anyone know of a Matter-controlled switch that sits behind the dumb device (i.e. inside the switch box or behind the light can) that can turn the dumb device into a smart one? This would be similar to the ubiquitous smart outlets but smaller and concealed in the wall or ceiling.
