I'm at a loss. I'm learning that a backup seems pointless. I thought a backup was like a snapshot. I thought that it would put everything back exactly as it was, but half of my integrations don't work. Everything has to be reauthenticated. Z2MQTT won't start. Am I missing something?

what type of install is it? (HAOS or container?)

did your backup have the z2m addon included in it? (assuming your running z2m as an addon and not on a sepeerate system?)
backups can be of just core or can be core+addons.
whilst I don't know the absolute specifics of the code. backups restore all the integrations and their config for core. as for addons, I am not sure how it runs backups of the containers.

Ok, my Eufy lock isn't working. When I try to set it up again, it says host port is wrong, but the port was prefilled in by the integration. It's always worked that way.

maybe a screenshot of your integrations tab on devices and services which would show your integrations and which ones are not working?

try ensuring ipv6 is disabled then rebooting (not just restarting home assistant) some people have issued caused by that.

It appears that I just had to wait awhile for some integrations and add ons. Most are back now.
I just never saw anything about having to wait after HA restarted.
