Watch stream of ReoLink Camera

Hello, I am going crazy trying to figure out how to see my Reolink E1 pro camera on HA. I read in the documentation that E1 pro might not work so if that issue is I just need a different E1 camera (https://a.co/d/eSII2et) I’ll buy it, but want to confirm before I spend more money.

I have my camera set up through the ReoLink integration but I don’t know how to see the feed. Trying to google this and search the discord I think maybe I need Frigate but I’m just getting stuck and more confused.

What I want to accomplish:

• ability to see my camera video feed on HA dashboard
• bonus would be if I can keep it local and not rely on any ReoLink cloud feature

Please help me if you could point me to a helpful guide. This seems like something that should be simple so hoping I’m just missing something obvious

docs say only compatible used with NVR/HomeHub connected to HA.

It doesn’t say that for the E1 zoom

I don’t want to buy the E1 zoom if I run into the same issue again

I know this I said that in my orignal post. Im asking if I get the E1 zoom will it be as simple as just adding it in HA or do I need to set up Frigate as well

have not read that you mentioned zoom in this post, at this point i can only give the advice to follow the compatible list https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink/#tested-directly-connected-models , it looks like it is supported, note that it has been tested with wired connection and that 2-way audio in general is not possible in HA

just add the reolink intergration into ha, local, no frigate need

do you know if this would be local only? as in not in the cloud, relying on reolink servers, or ability for someone to tap into my feed?
