Hello crazy party people. I've looked in the groups, but I dont seem to find an easy way to shut off termostat when the price goes too high. Is there, or does anyone know an easy way to cut off the termostat (heat in floor), when the price of electricity goes above X? I live in scandinavia, so we use "nordpool" for our prices. All ideas and answers are really appreciated.

Are you looking for an automation or for a device to "shut it off"? Aka, can you already control it from HA?

yeah, I've added it the termostat to HA through apple homekit

#

so im looking for a automation to shit the termostat off when the price hits X. When the price goes back dawn, the termostat goes on again

Do you have the current electricity price available as well? Because then it's a very basic automation

If you have the prices as well, just make the automation. Not that hard. You want a numeric state trigger to start with 🙂

I dont know if ive done the prices right, but i have some numbers

#

so I find the termostat that I want to shut off, and then make an automation on that?

In other words, you need to connect your company prices to HA

#

Then, you can make an automation like the folks said 🙂
