Heyo! I have a Dell Mini PC (Optiplex 3070 micro iirc) running Ubuntu Server with HA installed containerised. Is there a nifty way to monitor the power usage from this device, without using a smart plug or such, and get this data in HA?

Hi, the simple way is to use a smart plug with energy monitoring. Everything else is complicated and not reliable. Any reason to not use a smart plug?

I'm not an expert, maybe there's an easiest way than I know, but believe me, you never have too many smart plugs 😂

If you can just measure it once at idle and 100% power, you could template a power sensor from a cpu sensor.
