#ReoLink Solar Cameras for Pool area

fwiw you won't be able to use it with Frigate if it is solar
my eufy battery/solar ones with RTSP work fine for the most part. It just enables the RTSP stream whenever there is motion, not ideal but better than nothing
Reolink I’m sure is better as they have the home hub and give you tons of local APIs
right, if you don't mind Frigate spinning whenever there is no motion, and sometimes being delayed in recording what happened
I guess I instead should have said there is no official support in Frigate for cameras that don't stream 24/7
That can be relatively easily solved by just using a home assistant automation whenever the card is pressed in home assistant
(When card is pressed, initiate RTSP stream)
I just figured that out looking through solar recomendations, but that's fine this is going to be one or two cameras for the back yard only.
if all you care about is live view, yes, but then I'd wonder why one is using Frigate in the first place
Yeah that’s true. I mainly use it as a backup for footage, not as the main recorder / NVR
