Dear all,

I have not taken control over the devices, axially I don't see the devices in my ESPHome Builder, also not when I set "Show discovered devices".

Googled: Read somewhere that this can happen when the devices are on a separate VLAN without internet access and only a local connection to the HA instance. The devices are connected to another (2.4G only and optimized for IoT Wi-Fi network, Unifi) but do have internet access and that network is not isolated like on a guest Wi-Fi network.

When opening the device under the ESP Home integration it clearly states "Firmware: 2024.12.4 (Jan 17 2025, 10:50:45)".

System information.

Hardware: rpi5-64
ESPHome Device Builder version: 2025.3.3
Core: 2025.4.0
Supervisor: 2025.03.4
Operating System: 15.1
Frontend: 20250401.0

Can not find any logging specific to the Voice PR devices.
Bit stuck on the follow-up steps to troubleshoot this any further.

Missing some of the recent features, so any help would be appreciated.

is the firmware update entity in the configuration section enabled?

That entity is greyed out but enabled and visible.
I get the info out of the Device info panel.
Hope it is still clear even do the screen language is set to Duch.

thats odd, i would at this stage suggest that you manually reinstall the firmware
you plug the voice pe into your pc and use the web installer as documented here - https://voice-pe.home-assistant.io/guides/firmware-reinstall/
this should install the latest version of the the firmware and reconnect it to your network.

it does look like somehow you have some kind of dev firmware installed which is not able to update. installing the stock firmware fresh should get everything working as intended

This solved the issue, indeed the manufacture also was reported as Espressif. Maybe because I orderd it during the release party I ended up with a pre-release model.

This solved the issue, but also had to remove the device and add it again into home assistant, after I needed to fix all my automations and desboards etc. But it solved the issue. Will repeated the process for the second unit I have.
