HI all! New to HA, and trying to consolodate some things. Was previously running PiHole on a seperate Pi. When I got HA up and running i thought i'd see if i could run PiHole from the same PI as HA. Doing some googleing, i came across a reddit post that mentioned AdGuard, and that "when you do get a blocked page there's an option on the page to temporarily allow". Granted, I now notice this post was 4 years ago, so may be a feature that was removed. Any chance anyone knows if this is still and thing, and if so, how to enable it maybe?

what type of install do you have?
as far as I am aware both pihole and adguard both just return 0.0.0.0 on a blocked domain. but you can temporily disable them from the ui's
I believe that the original question is likely to do with the Adguard app rather than the DNS blocker. For the addon (the DNS blocker) as mentioned you can disable it in the UI or via the integration.
Copy. Thanks for the info. I'll likely set up an automation similar to the API call i used with PiHole. Just thought it would be nice if the "end user" could click the "let me through anyway" button, if it existed
so instead of ads all over the screen you would have "let me through" buttons all over the screen? 😛
the way the blocking works doesn't really allow for what your suggesting.
to be fair if your adblocker is causing you issues then reducing your blocklists a bit might be in order. dont go overboard with them to the point it causes new disruptions
