I just installed ha on a flash drive, I had uses ha before with a SD card on the rp b+ and it failed, so I'm using flash drive and I'm stuck here, also coming here, I had to type "login", and after sometimes "banner". This install sucks

It will be unbearably slow, likely run very hot, and I assume fry itself after some amount of time.

is this a pi1 or a pi3 b+? because a pi1 is just not the thing to use for something that works
HA isn't a small bit of code to run on a pi1 anymore. pi3 would be a minimum and even then you would want to keep it light. An 11 yr old hobby board maybe good for pihole and even that would be slow

I've used ha on the same device before, the only difference is I'm trying to make it work on a USB stick since I get connection issues
I've tried on another USB stick, I was able to get it much further but after trying to restore my backup it's stuck
I have an old computer that is just lying around is it better to install it on that? I want it to control my lights, have adguard running and more
