Hey guys, I'm moving from an rpi to a mini PC for my home assitatnt install, and had a manual unencrypted backup on the rpi.
Now that I've installed the HA container on the new device, I'm trying to restore the unencrypted backup and its always asking for the encryption key, even though there is none.
Can i just copy over the entire config directory?

I don't see why not. Just make sure HA is stopped and you move the hidden files/directories too.

Thanks confirmed it worked manually.
On another note it seems like all sensor data used to poll at a much lower interval on the rpi

that probably means the rpi was underpowered for the size of your home assistant configuration, and couldn't keep up with the expected update rate :/

No I phrased that wrong. It feels like the rpi had a faster polling rate, even though that makes no sense.
