Is this the right place to highlight problems with VPE? I’m having misbehaviours with the media player

I’m play an internet radio stream on the VPE via standard calls but it’s automatically stopping after a random time. Sometimes it’s just a few seconds, others it several minutes.

Same here, not just with radio though, but also with Spotify and Apple Music.

I've been working with the folk on esphome discord and after investigating logs on the VPE device they're pretty convinced the problem is on HA. The player is just stopping with no errors or logs in the same way it does when a file based media ends. there is nothing obvious in the HA logs either but I'm not sure I've switched on media_player logging properly homeassistant.components.media_player: debug. In any event, I'm hoping this community can help me dig into things to try and isolate the problem

If there’s anything I can do to help as well, put it out there. I’m not super savvy with all things ESPHome or debug logging, but if there’s something straightforward that I can do/provide, put it out here

I decided to return the device for a replacement as it seemed hardware related. The distributor said ok but asked me email nabu casa first, so I've done that. I'd be very surprised it is hardware and that I've been so unlucky. Hopefully they reply.

I saw your ticket and dont think there is anything to add from support. Is the vendor wanting to hear a reply? I'll see if I can get someone with more insight to check this out (or your esphome post)

They asked me to reach out because it might be Nabu Casa have seen this before. As I said in my email I’m more than willing help diagnose this. I can’t believe I’m so unique to be experiencing this. I also posted some more logs in the esphome post
