#Zigbee 433MHz devices - since when Zigbee works on 433? Will it work in Europe?

Do not touch that
Hi @viscid fiber,
Probably a Tuya device that does Zigbee but also has rf433 triggers. I have a couple different but similar things around and can use them with a rf433 remote.
I give it 50-50 that it works as expected. If you won't get upset tossing it in the bin because it doesn't work as expected, then try one.
Keep expectations low, and Tuya will probably need the cloud.
Will it need cloud for zigbee?
Likely, at least to get set-up if you use one of the local Tuya integrations.
that sounds really bad! ๐ฆ
i am wondering, could someone recommend a good zigbee/zwave/esphome relay/switch with at least 4 channels? i need it for controlling underfloor heating manifold electronic valves
Depending on the output voltage, a Z-Wave RGBW controller like the ones from Fibaro may work. I've used them before for controlling heating valves.
I like it. Just make sure it doesn't try to dim the output...
@tepid perch is there a way of completely disabling dimming functionality?
there are also some esp32-based relay boards on aliexpress and similar. you may want one with dry contacts. e.g. one that doesn't supply mains voltage to the relay outputs, just switches stuff. then install esphome, tasmota or similar to give it the functionality you want.
No, not that I know of.
You could set max (option 12) and minimum dim (option 13) to 255, that way possible values are just off or full on.
