solaredge is cloud only or very hard to get it localy in HA
SolarEdge modbus multi integration gives local monitoring and control at 10 second intervals https://github.com/WillCodeForCats/solaredge-modbus-multi
Before you consider solaredge please read this and decide. https://www.whoprofits.org/companies/company/3732?
i dont get it what is the point of this?
i did try it and it doesnt work for me. but i have in plan to run utp to inverter to test it if only works if wired connection
Not advising for nor advising against getting Enphase, but it's mostly the same there as with Solaredge: official support by the manufacturer is only cloud based. A local integration was created by the community that works very well. In the past examples can be found where some manufacturer thinks they can increase profit by thwarting such community-built local access solutions in favor of their -often subscription based- cloud solution, so guarantees for the future can never be given in this situation, but luckily many manufacturers are now aware of the power of the community and think at least twice before taking such steps because of all the bad publicity this gives. However Enphase is not exactly known for their well-intention for the customer: Based on my personal experience share holders are Enphase's 1st priority, customer satisfaction seems mostly a means to get the profit. Their hardware is working fine for me though!
