For the past couple of days I've been having this issue where I cannot open the side panel and I have to click "manage dashboards" to force me into my settings. From them I can go back to my dashboard and the side panel works until I close the app. I have force closed and cleared the cache. HA OS & the app are fully updated.

I've found the culprit
Turning off subview disables the back button
Now that that issue is resolved then comes a new issue. Anytime the back button is displayed for any menu it's flaky if it works. I was in HACS submenu's and I had to mash the button a few times to back out of it

Hi I have the same problem - my android shortcuts just take me to a dashboard and there's no way of opening the menu. This includes the default dashboard, which doesn't have any options for View Configurations

There isn't a way of getting to that settings page for the Overview dashboard, as far as I could find? In case anyone ends up here again - that wasn't my issue, it was that I had a faultily installed theme causing the issue
