Hi @chrome lantern,
I ordered one of these. Haven't powered it up yet. It's tuya Zigbee...

Ok keep us posted
I have got to ask... Why?
Circuit breakers are a safety device - making them smart runs the risk of them being worse at their job.
Better to install your control/sensing downstream and in series, rather than replacing it imo
In my case I am powering a substantial sized air compressor. I want to shut it off when we leave the house for a week or more at a time. It will still be plugged into a wall outlet so the safety part is still in tact, This appeared to be a zigbee switch that if I bought the 63 amp model, should be able to handle the motor startup current and inductive motor load.
I will have the remains of an extension cord going to a little box, this breaker, and an outlet.
The plastic box I found on amazon has room for 2, so I've ordered a smaller one to vacation mode another nearby device as well.
So a 60 amp rated zigbee switch, that's why.
Im installing two new electrical units into a refurb house so its the right time to look a this. Installing downstream devices just seems additional work, im doing all of this through my electrician and ensuing he is happy with quality first. We need early adopters or tech moves at a very slow place... I want the visibility if something trips also...
nice... thanks for sharing
Your electrician won't have a clue about them, or they'd have suggested an option for you.
Wrong, he does know about them and the new regs which are coming soon which require monitoring on circuits...
OK. So use the ones he recommends then
