#No Neutral Dimmer Switches 🇬🇧

I have been on the hunt for affordable no neutral dimmer wall switches, or modules that are based on zigbee. However I’ve been unsuccessful, they’re either unreliable (claim to be no neutral), or rather expensive 40+ in the UK.

I plan to buy 1/2/3 gang switches as well as 1/2 way, dependent if the price is right.

Here are my requirements:

  • No neutral (UK)
  • Dimming function
  • Zigbee based
  • Works well with Z2M
  • Affordable (under ÂŁ20)
  • Rotary preferred, but button switches are okay.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

IIRC, you hated the Aqara ones, right?

I believe they’re out of my price range, and reliability isn’t that great on zigbee?

Yeah, It’s a struggle in the UK unfortunately, due to supply and demand, hence the price and choices compared to the US.

Aren’t Shelly WiFi based? Tbh, I don’t mind using modules, just need to fit a bigger back box

I have been trying ecodim rotary which meets your criteria but maybe not price.

Tbh I think you will need to adjust your search, most likely the under ÂŁ20 part. I didn't see anything in my recent searches that would meet your list at that price.

Why not start by getting some but not as many and then buy more later when you have the money? Gives you a chance to see how they perform as well
