#How do i conifgure OpenRGB ip adress?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi @pearl linden,
Go to settings, then integrations, and search for it to load something
through the UI (Configuration->Integrations),
This is assuming you have already loaded it and restarted HA to populate the backend.
When i get to Integrations the OpenRGB shows under HACS as this
But when i enter it i dont see anithing that i can use or Configure it
(The words are different because it was translated back to English from another language)
or i am just dumb and cant understand anithing
i cannot find the "Configuration->Integrations"
That is the old HACS. You should open an issue for the openRGB author and have them fix this.
If you find the openRGB thing in the HACS list, open it
Do the download button lower rt corner.
restart HA
Do the instructions for Home Assistant in the readme
Basically this part of the instructions...
Search for "OpenRGB"
Select (Download)
Restart Home Assistant
Home Assistant
Go to the integrations page
Click on the "Add Integration" button at the bottom-right
Search for the "OpenRGB" integration
Select the OpenRGB integration
isnt this how yo sppose to do it?

This is from the openRGB readme instructions...
Do that part above, DO NOT do this part:
HACS
Launch HACS
Navigate to the Integrations section
"+ Explore & Add Repositories" button in the bottom-right
And complain with an issue in the openRGB gitgub that their instructions are several months out of date.
k
Then I would contact the software author and see what is happening.
Can i ask one more question?
sure
my language is set to english but the ui ıs not english
the ui is %50 english and %50 other language
that is my pc's language
and the HomeAsistant is running on a VirutalMachine that has a host of that language pc
and is there a way to run home asistant on windows without a VirtualMachine?
I don't have any idea about languages. Sorry.
Ok
?
I fond that the lnguage was changing on the user acc so the user acc and the software has diferent settings for language
No on that one. Remove windows completely. (I don't use windows at all...) I really do not like it.
The Bitlocker prevents me from installing other os like linux
(i already tried)
HA needs it's own machine or VM to run HAOS or a Docker and other ways that involve linux.
Put in a new drive, use the old drive as a data drive, and install Debian on the new one.
I did that with the new laptop 2 months ago I'm typing on here. Kept the windows partition to use my tax software, otherwise use the drive for data.
its a laptop and i cannot add a drive bcz it does not have another place to put a drive
it lrady has a ssd
No NVME Slot?
Then just throw out the drive and put in a new one.
was
it has my data
a lot
i think that i can partiton the drive in windows and use the partiton in linux
so i sd my ptohe and it worked
used
phone
man my keyboard be dying
