Hi Petro! I've had a look at Wiz smart products, also looking on Amazon. Local connectivity through HA surely sounds tempting!
Many comments talk about bad connectivity of light bulbs and sockets, though -- looks like they're randomly losing Wifi connection even when you have a super stable Wifi signal everywhere in the house (like I have).
What's your experience in that respect?

I think the term “super stable WiFi” is misleading at best. For instance, I have 51 Wiz bulbs on my network. Very, VERY occasionally, one will drop off or miss a command. But generally, they are rock solid. Granted, I run a UniFi network, so not consumer gear.

UniFi is WiFi 7, I'm green with envy!
I have WiFi 6 here, from a recent AVM Fritz!Box with a handful of WiFi 6 repeaters. Coverage is flawless, but not as good as UniFi I guess.
I'll give Wiz a try and see how it goes.

lol not true... I only have one WiFi6 AP. The other ones are WiFi5. I see no need to go up to 7 (yet). But you should be fine as long as you don't go crazy on WiFi devices.
