Experimenting with Electrical Sensor now, using POW320D as a test bed.
So far successful flashing the Matter with Electrical Sensor endpoint and communication with chiptool
Commissioned to HA as well but no entities exposed.
Same for me with Silicon Labs xG24 Explorer Kit
We do not yet have the entities mapped for Electrical Sensor - I was waiyting on a device but looks like there isnt any. I will publish the discovery schemas as is so you guys can test it in the next release
Thanks ๐
Sure.
Which sample you're using?
Okay.
I've written a page describing the testing of the Matter dishwasher example: https://github.com/lboue/matter_EFR32_dishwasher
The card costs about $40
Which card?
This one, EFR32xG24 Explorer Kit: https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/s/silicon-laboratories/efr32xg24-explorer-kit
It's easy to use with the SimplicityStudio IDE.
I hate using it, not sure why it's freaking resource hungry.
Using SimplicityStudio?
SimplicityStudio
It consumes less disk space than the Matter SDK ๐
Probably you've the full SDK cloned instead of sparse checkout.
I'm testing several platforms (Linux, Silabs, nRF, ESP32), so it takes up a lot of disk space.
Hello Marcel. Could you push discovery schemas to next 2024.9.0 beta version https://github.com/home-assistant/core/releases/tag/2024.9.0b0 ? I installed a VM with the beta version for testing purposes.
No, beta has been cut. It will be in the next beta. Currently we are focusing on 2 major stability issues that we need to fix first
You mean in 2024.10.0 beta or next 2024.9 beta subversion?
OK.
I'd have to manage to run the tests locally with Docker and VScode on my machine.
or just wait a bit
@dusky hinge - We're ETA for 2024.10?
yes
