#Hey, I setup the Matter Integration

First of all Multi protocol is no longer maintained so if you are setting up things from scratch now, I strongly suggest to skip multi protocol and use the stick standalone for Thread with the OpenThread Border Router add-on.
Matter works entirely using IPv6 but is not dependent of an actual IPv6 ISP or dhcp server but the IPV6 traffic does need to be able to travel freely. So no network gear that blocks that etc. In Home Assistant OS, make sur ethat IPv6 is enabled (just set to automatic) in the network settings.
Are you 100% sure this is a Matter bulb ? Nanoleaf bulbs have Homekit bulbs and Matter. It should say Matter on the box.
Oh, thats good to know.
When I wanna use Zigbee and Thread, do I then just flash one stick with Zigbee and one with Thread? Or is there an alternative for the integration of both.
And yes, these are indeed "Build on Thread" Bulbs, but as I mentioned, I have turned IPv6 off in my homenet, so I'll just turn it on.
Thread is not Matter - if the package just says "built on Thread" you do not have Matter bulbs but the old homekit ones.
And yes, best to use a seperate stick for thread and zigbee
so for example use the sonoff for zigbee and a dedicated skyconnect for Thread
benefit of using the skyconnect is that we will set it all up for you when the stick is detected
Oh okay, sorry.
I thought Matter = Thread.
But can't I then connect the "old ones" via Thread?
Forget it, sometimes reading the manual is a good idea.
