Same as any other device - put the bridge in pairing mode, put the sensor in pairing mode, and pray that Philips support it

How exactly do I set this sensor to clutch mode? I googled it and it says to press the button for 5 seconds, but for me it only flashes once and then nothing happens.

That's what you do

The device has to be in range of the mesh

and Philips have to support it
