Make sure you're using Chrome and that no ad/content blocker is involved

I just spun up a VM with HAOS 12.4 and HA 2024.7.0 - no problems with the onboarding flow, so I don't know what's happening to you

#

If you can connect a keyboard and monitor then maybe somebody else can help you spot the problem

I'm on a pi 4 as well, could be isolated to that installation image

Wouldn't be the first time - try an older HAOS image

#

12.3 or 12.2 say

I'll try all of those methods asap

I've just been sitting with this problem for a few hours as a new home assistant user. I have the home assistant green device, and couldn't get past that create user screen. I tried flashing the latest os onto it, i tried flashing the os from 2023. After doing all of that, i tried to remove the capital letter from my username, and that seems to have fixed my issue. Not sure if i also needed to flash the old os onto it, but hopefully this can help someone else (If it's even the same issue)

TLDR: Try making a username without any capital letters

That's the last thing i changed that made it work. It doesn't say anywhere that you can't have caps, but that's just my experience

I'll give that a try when I can

Weird, that just worked for me. Usernames should be able to be capitalized though

Or at the very least, it should tell you that the capital letter is the problem, so you don't have to guess
