What MQTT devices do you have?

balmy plover
#

I had like 56 device through zigbee2mqtt. Used mqtt explorer for the first time to try and delete and sensor and ended up deleting everything

lethal halo
#

Restart Zigbee2MQTT

balmy plover
#

wow got to be kidding me. I fully reset HA twice now and it didnt do anything. Restarting z2m is slowly bringing them back online

lethal halo
#

Because you deleted all the messages from Z2M

#

The key ones being the ones that created the devices in HA

#

Those are only published at Z2M startup (or when a device is paired)

balmy plover
#

Will they slow come back after they update at different times?

lethal halo
#

They should all re-appear pretty quickly once the discovery payloads are published

#

That's normally just a few dozen seconds at most

balmy plover
#

hmmm looks like only about 4 came back

#

mqtt integration only says 2 devices

lethal halo
#

Do they all still show in Z2M?

balmy plover
#

yes

lethal halo
#

Then #zigbee-archived can help - but restarting Z2M (and maybe HA) should be all you need to do

balmy plover
#

I just stopped it for a few seconds and back on and still nothing

#

shit

lethal halo
#

Head back over to #zigbee-archived and explain what you did and what you're now seeing

balmy plover
#

can go over there as i cross posted

lethal halo
#

Go over there ๐Ÿ˜‰

balmy plover
#

If i just restored from back up it should all come back right?

lethal halo
#

Probably

balmy plover
#

god damn. though hitting the delete button would clear out empty topics

lethal halo
#

And now you know better ๐Ÿ˜„
