#HA Green: auto backup (scheduled or by trigger) to SD card

It's not a backup until it's off the computer

@fluid finch Do you consider the SD card extension as part of the computer?
If you're writing the "backup" to the same device that the data is on then it's not a backup
If you're writing the backup to another disk on the same computer it's technically a backup, but not a great one
And yes, the SD card in the computer is part of that computer
In the mindset, I don't really see a difference between using an external disk or a SD card.
Except if you also consider that using an external disk is not a great backup
The SD slot is for recovery or running another OS
If the SD card dies, and the original data and the backup are on the same SD card then... that's a pretty epic fail
@eternal shell ok, I see, I am doing a misuse here!
SD cards are also shit for data storage
They've a good habit of dying with little warning
Not only a misuse. If you should get it working with udev rules, you might break the recovery function.
Saying, you might not be able to factory reset the device anymore (without tech support or good Linux knowledge)
