When you paired that, did you pick a nearby router (good) or let it pick how to join (bad)?

How so? I only have the one dongle and one other aqara
I dont rememeber seeing that opiton

You need to tell us if you use ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT

Find the device page for a router near to the sensor, use the option on that page to allow you to pair via that router, and put the sensor back into pairing mode

My setup is one usb dongle (i guess router) in my rasbery PI and two sensors

Did you at least put the dongle (the coordinator) on a USB extension cable?

One room away, the one works fine and hasnt given me any issues

Try an extension cable, that'll help a lot

Also try some (Zigbee) routers, that'll help too

Ill give that a go, i rekon this device is dead though , when it does report value it doesnt change
