Add-ons are unique to HAOS, they're other software
That said, maybe you meant a custom integration?
Hello Tinkerer,
I ment the information that I found on this link:
https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/tplink
That's an integration, that's already part of HA Core
#integrations-archived integrate Home Assistant with devices or services, or provide functionality within Home Assistant.
#add-ons-archived provide additional software or services, which an integration could possibility integrate with. Add-ons are for Home Assistant OS and Supervised only, other install methods can install software other ways.
Yes, but It shows that there should be support for the plugs but when I add devices into HA it does not show the optin
What exact models of plug?
When I select for devices it gives the options:
Add Matter device
TP-Link Kasa Smart
TP-Link Omada
TP-Link LTE
So not the TP-Link Tap Devices
I am looking to connect P110 plugs
What version (number) of HA Core?
Home Assistant 2023.7.3
Frontend 20230705.1 - latest
Ok, I will need to check how to do that as it is currently a package installation from the Synology center
It might still be the issue that I need to upgrade my NAS server first
Oh... good luck
I saw you also reacted on my question within #installation-archived
My personal preference would be to just update my NAS server, as it has other benifits as well.
And running HA on a virtual machine would get me settled for the next few 'years'?
