as in never come back?

Not before I get sick of them not working and re-pair them.

What is the model reported on the device page for the sensors that are doing this?

#

Also, just a note, but ZHA itself doesn’t have anything to do with the devices sticking on the network. There is one setting you can try. Let me find a reference for it

#

z2m has this setting by default

I already have that option turned on - in fact I believe you may have directed me there months ago.

Not sure what else can be tried… the network itself manages this stuff. We have nothing aside from settings like the above that we can change to impact this

It's just weird that it only ever seems to happen when the coordinator host is restarted, hence considering offloading to z2m for less frequent restarts.

Have you tried directly pairing them through routers?

fathom roost
#

Yes, it's far enough from the coordinator that it can't pair directly with it anyway.

Then the coordinator restarting shouldn’t affect it… hrm

#

What is it paired to?

#

And have you peeked the graph to make sure it isn’t bouncing around?

My graph rarely has battery devices actually linked to a router. They just float, not attached to anything. When pairing in the past, I have tried to pair it to both a Hue light that's around 2m away, and an Ikea power point that's about 2m away (but through a wall).
