You've got entities in HA, you use those in state triggers
The #automations-archived UI may not auto-fill the options for you, but the Z2M docs list them all
@past grove based on the screenshot you shared, you can use a state trigger ("entity" -> "state" in the UI). Your entity is the "Action" sensor that shows up in the device. You can press the switch and see what happens to that action entity. Then use those states as triggers in your automation.
thanks it's working now. I paired them again and pressed the buttons during the paring process and now the clicks can be seen in automations.
But it's still missing some options because from what I see on others they have functions like hold and double press. mine only have single press
HA's UI only shows things it's seen already - but you can manually enter the values
is this through blueprint?
Another noob question. Is the local tuya integration only for wifi devices?
I'm trying to set up localtuya but it only detects the gateway
Here I have 9 tuya devices in total
2 of which are gateway 1 switch and the remaining 6 are battery powered sensors
all of them are zigbee devices, is that why they don't have an IP address?
here is a sample of my device without an IP address

No - just type the values into the #automations-archived editor
