#ZHA has a smaller database of devices

Looks like all my Ikea Trådfri devices are listed. Similar with Tuya ones.
Just need to wait for normal day before I turn off all lightbulbs for re-pairing
You might want to check out this collection of blueprints for the Ikea (and other brands) remotes: https://github.com/lsismeiro/awesome-ha-blueprints . You can use them to set up all sorts of controls with many different remotes. Read the documentation though, you will need to set up a few things. That framework was set up by someone else, but their project appears to be abandoned, and it was taken up by others who are maintaining it. See this thread too for the Styrbar part of it. https://community.home-assistant.io/t/zha-deconz-zigbee2mqtt-ikea-e2001-e2002-styrbar-remote-control-universal-blueprint-all-actions-double-click-events-control-lights-media-players-and-more-with-hooks/354176
Is https://zigbee.blakadder.com/zha.html a reliable source for identifying zha supported devices? Reading the comments at the reseller websites, I have the feeling that sometimes people mistake Z2M for ZHA
I use Switch Manager to manage remotes. Does the job.
Migrated from Z2M to ZHA today. Have to identify 2 devices (which is which) and pair one by hand (dismount and press button)
Also I find Switch Manager easier to use than blueprints. Add, select type, press button to identify and then setup actions.
Blueprints tend to provide gazillion options at once and require reading own documentation just to do basic things.
Looks like awesome-ha-blueprints are no longer maintained
I don't have a bunch of different devices and they are all accurately listed, and I haven't yet seen messages about devices that were listed on Blakadder as compatible with ZHA but turned out not to be. But that's all I can say, I'm not the most experienced person by far when it comes to this. I do know there are a number of devices (like my Popp/Danfoss TRV's) that are correctly recognized in ZHA but only expose a small number of sensors and attributes while Z2M sees a lot more.
Yes that's correct, but that's why I linked the Isismeiro fork instead of Epmatt's original one. Because the new fork is actively maintained. They didn't start a new thread on the community though, and that's a bit confusing I guess.
I wasn't aware of Switch Manager tbh. I just read through the thread describing it. Looks cool, but not sure if it's what I would want. It looks more like another layer on top of blueprints?
it has own, internal, bluprints for switches
