#Can anyone in the UK recommend a cheap

Innr official site seems sold out, Xiaomi isn't on Amazon and Aqara plugs seem unavailable everywhere which is weird. It's frustrating that ZigBee plugs seems like they are twice the price of WiFi ones.
Innr can be found on Amazon
Do you mean a faceplate socket that mounts on the wall?
For the simple inline/plug-in sockets I've had 4 white label Tuya ones running 24/7 for a year now and haven't heard my smoke alarm go off yet
They are the model that reports the power load, mains voltage and current.
I have chosen not to test the 20A fuse they claim to have inside 😕
Also I have some IKEA ones that work well, claim a (more sensible) 13A fuse, don't have a button on the side to turn them on or off, and don't report power usage. They are bigger too, if that's an issue.
Also no smoke detected from these either. I think I will test my alarms soon 🤣
Given that there's a 13A limit for UK plugs... testing that 20A claim is going to be tricky
More stupid than tricky perhaps? 🤣
