- The coordinator is on a USB extension cable?
- The SNZB03 is within 6 to 8 meters of the coordinator?
I see, SNZB03 is maybe not in 6-8 meters of the coordinator.
But my zbmini-l2 is working fine with the coordinator. And my snzb03 is about 1-2 meters away from zbmini-l2.
In short i have to pair snzb03 (close range to the server/coordinator) first before i can arrange it to my goal destination. ?
I thought zbminil2 can help extend with the range. (Meshing) thing?
Those are known to be pretty rubbish routers
And the sensors you've bought are also known to be pretty rubbish end devices
Try pairing them through the zbmini and maybe you'll be lucky
What router are you referring to that is rubbish?
Im using Ewelink Dongle-E Usb Dongle Zigbee Gateway connect to rpi/HA docker.
So any recommended sensor?
Previously i used Tuya Zigbee Human Motion Sensor which a little bit cheaper working fine. I thought this one SNZB03 is a good upgrade.
The zbmini is a rubbish router
The Sonoff end devices are ... not great, better than some Tuya, worse than others
Search the history of #zigbee-archived and you'll find out more
zbmini is not great for meshing? Thats not good 😦
Innr plugs make grerat routers
Sonoff's devices are generally not great, and that includes the coordinator you bought
Lolz, just done some bit more research, prior i dont even know that is a router Zigbee, and the rectangular, oval, and circle shape in the visualization in HA.
My zbminil2 is gray color and number 65 which obviously very low from server/coordinator.
Thank you for widening my research bro
The ZBMINI-L2 doesn't do any routing
