not that I notice, no
But I'm not sure if that's bad signal.
tho I use sonoff CC2531
I have 4 bulbs and 2 remotes (1 controls three bulbs). If I press the button on the remote a few times quickly it stops working, in which i have to wait for a few seconds. then if I press buttons slowly like every second it stays responding
I run HA on a raspberry pi 3B,
I got a button for my kid in wc so he presses it when he needs help, often he presses is multiple times and everything still works, action just starts on his last press.
do you use the home assistant services or directly the device itself?
I use home assistant, that tells nest hub to say "I need help", running ha on raspberry pi 4 4gb
SIde note. That's a pretty interesting automation. I wish there was a #automations-archived-for-toddlers sub-forum in 😄
thanks, I'll make sure to post it if they create it ; )
so damacus what is your setup? also raspberry and ikea stuff?
No ikea stuff,
Rasp Pi + Sonoff P Plus, Aquara TVOC sensors
And hugh amount of other stuff integrated.
also a RPI 3B?
4B 8Gb.
In my country lot of stuff is unavailable, only options for buttons are xiaomi(only a button) and ikea(variety of different things), about a week ago I bought like 5 buttons for price of 2.5$ each! It was a sale... Ikea is so cheap, but still kinda fancy yk
Might be worth getting a https://www.home-assistant.io/yellow/ if you're going to upgrade
how much is it?
nothing wrong with the ikea stuff.
tho yeah rpi3 is a bit outdated
yeah i know you're saying to wesley right
I'm just curious
cuz i bought rpi 4 4gb for 100$ with case and sd card
RPI 3B is a little outdated but as damacus is also having problems. (slow sometimes)
I had a 3B laying around, currently testing the hardware and software, maybe I will upgrade to a NUC or something in the future. Since I do not have a lot off stuff going on yet I thought it was a nice starting point.
I like Ikea actually they have a lot of stuff and I already bought an amount of lamps and use it for almost 3 years now, but never in HA.
oh yeah, 70% of my furniture is ikea too
also stuff is cheaper here, button and dimer are regularly around 9$, in us they are 15$, I got them on double sale, so they were dirt cheap.
