Did you actually read the second sentence?

If you want to use Google Assistant (for example, from your phone or Google Home device) to interact with your Home Assistant managed devices, then you want the Google Assistant integration

Please use imgur or other image sharing web sites, and share the link here.

Image posting is blocked in most channels to discourage people from sharing text as images. Sharing text as images assumes that everybody sees the world as you do, which isn't the case. Some people are colour blind, or have visual impairment that means they can't make sense of an image of text.

in previous versions, did connecting the integration automatically pull every HA entity into Google Home or am I remembering incorrectly?

There's still a separate control panel for the Google integration in Nabu Casa, where you can pick from everything
