Maybe I am deleting the entity incorrectly? I go to the Statistic tab that shows the error and delete it there. I was not going to the entities tab as it does not show any errors. Not sure what the issue is but when I click on one of the entities in statistics that shows an error it shows the statistics correctly.
I went to the mobile app integration, found the entity on the device, disabled it, then deleted it. After a moment or 2 it reappeared without the errors in the logs.
I am not getting errors in the logs. I am getting errors only in the statistics tab
can you show me the errors?
If you follow this github issue https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/71065#issuecomment-1218112623 I believe this will show all the errors from the app as well as in HA
Yes, ok, i'm 99% sure this is the same issue
in your logs, you'll have an error about it not being numeric but the state class is or some BS
you have to delete the entity and let it recreate itself
because the entity was created prior to state_classes existing
you can probably confirm this by looking for the enitty in the entity_registry file
\\homeassistant\config\.storage\core.entity_registry
I deleted all the entities and the apps from all three devices. It was good for a while, but it came back recently. It was good in beta 3 ( I believe) but failed again in beta 4,5, & 6. Not sure if this error is the same as that was an old one and I had already deleted the 12 errors. I will post again after the b7 updates. The error Statistics in "" state class not supported.
Maybe We are talking about 2 different issues
I also have my database trimmed back, so none of my andriod mobile app items have this issue. Neither do my ios devices
On b7 have three errors in statistics. None in entity or system log. Had 18 in beta 6. The errors: "The state class '' of this entity is not supported". The errors just went away by themselves. They did not on beta 6 after a day.
