#Offline devices through Sonoff S31 Lite

Sure! Sorry for polluting an already existing discussion
No worries. So to clarify: you have some battery-powered device, and a Sonoff S31 routing device. You join the battery-powered device via the router, and both go offline?
Yeah
This is what's in the logbook for both devices
The 3D Printer device is the Sonoff S31, the Workshop Climate is the battery device that's connected to it (or I guess, was)
The 1 minute time diff is because I'm slow taking screenshots
I suspect something else is happening. Can you enable debug logging for ZHA (https://i.imgur.com/rJQnkId.png), make sure everything is working again, and then download logs after everything fails?
Hah... That's exactly the option I was looking for ๐
Uh, so, turn it on, get everything back on the network, wait for it to fall over again and then download the diagnostics?
Yep
Of course now the dang thing doesn't want to connect anymore at all
Alright, this is the diagnostics after the device fell apart again
Click the "Disable debug logging" button instead. That downloads the actual debug logs.
Ohhhh
Alright, I got a much larger file now. I'm guessing I want to grep for the device IDs?
If you can upload (or DM) the whole file, that would be much easier for me to look at
You wouldn't happen to have Z2M or the multi-PAN addon installed, would you?
Yeah, hold on, lemme truncate the start a little bit. I had the debug running for a while, ate some food, tried to get it to pair, gave up, then retried again ๐
I do not, no. Just the regular Yellow labelled Zigbee controller
The more logging, the better. Feel free to leave it untruncated.
Here ya go. Enjoy my 5mb of template errors ๐
0x8f2f is the end device
0xd180 is the router
Thanks, I'll take a look at this in a bit
Thank you!
Let me know if there's anything else I can do. I'm also happy to install a fresh HASS install and just add the two devices that are failing to it (or anything else)
@inland tartan did you have a chance to look at the log? Itโs not at all urgent, I just know that I routinely forget about things once they arenโt in my face anymore ๐
Oh whoops, wrong guy sigh
Sorry!
One thing I meant to add is that I did some experiments. The sensor paired with the Zigbee Controller instead of through the router makes it work just fine. Had the sensor over night on my desk paired with the Yellow box directly and it never lost connection
