You will need to follow https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/tuya/ to set up Tuya via the cloud.

I would recommend using LocalTuya, though. See https://github.com/rospogrigio/localtuya, which has a little more involved setup, but then you don't have to worry about the cloud. I did setup tuya via the cloud but after I put all in it wanted some login info I tried the ones used to create an account in tuya cloud but that did not work i treid all the tuya accounts i had but no hope, but I did have succes with tuya local, but for some reason when I switch the switch it just goes back, it turned the switch on but that is kind of dumb cuz it is connected to our water heating and there is an automation to turn on after 17:00 but if I had some other automations HA will not know if the switch is on or off which is kind of dumb ngl

There's a chance something is not set up correctly, but I'm definitely no expert on Tuya cloud or LocalTuya. I'm new to hass and only went through the experience of setting up Tuya and then LocalTuya myself.
