#Why does the Thread overview new in beta

Sound like IPv6 is not working properly or not enable on your HA. For the Sky Connect you should remove the OTBR add-on and go to Settings -> System -> Hardware and configure it there
So there are 2 sources of information
Zeroconf/mdns, which is how we learn about the border routers
And the thread “store”
The thread store houses your thread secrets
You can only have a “My network” if you have at least one set of thread credentials in your thread store
So if there was nothing in that top section, even though we can see your home assistant border router, HA hasn’t been able to import its secrets
Alternatively, it could have imported some credentials from the OTBR, but then if OTBR is reconfigured manually HA would be out of sync and looking for the old network.
I can’t tell which state you are in without seeing a screenshot

You need to remove the multi protocol add-on and integrations (especially OTBR) and then delete thread.datasets from config/.storage. Then restart HA. Then do the SkyConnect setup again.
Thanks, that helped. Don’t know what to expect to be changed yet, but now it looks correct with home-assistant border router under My network.
Eventually that should let the Android and iOS apps sync the credentials for the OTBR to your phone, which can use them to provision matter devices. The Android changes are in the companion app beta.
Dunno bout iOS
More exciting, if you have Bluetooth in your HA box then we can provision Eve, Nanoleaf, Wemo, Airversa and maybe others onto HomeKit over Thread using the SkyConnect.
For that it’s enough to be on 2023.3, any compatible homekit devices have a provision button on their device page.
cool, will try that, thanks again!
How? I just tried adding a Nanoleaf bulb and nothing happens. Doesn’t get detected via Bluetooth or thread
Is it already paired to iOS? Does your HA have working Bluetooth?
I reset the bulb to try to pair it to HA. I have a Broadcom adapter plugged into my HA box and it’s configured and running though i have no idea what to do with it after that.
You say you tried to pair it but I don’t know what buttons you pressed and what you did or didn’t see. There’s so many variables in this, so please be specific.
