I know there is a mechanism to do it, now how easy it is to pull off with today's tooling is another matter
the basics of how it should work based on the protocol is you introduce the new stick as a secondary controller then you can remove the original controller from the network.
Last time I looked into doing it I gave up and stayed with my original zwave adapter, but that was genuinely 6 years ago
lol...that is always an option. I have 20 something devices so might not be worth the effort
@dull cairn did you end up getting this working? I am looking to move from and Aeotec stick to the Zooz stick myself, hoping I can benefit from your experience if you took the plunge.
after researching around I learned that there's a backup tool for aeotec dongles, but mine was a different type, so I ended up just excluding each device and re-adding them onto the new controller 1 by 1.
